Dr. Demos Gora, a MBBS graduate from Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada, is presently in final year of DNB trainee in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Krishna Hospital, Visakhapatnam. She has been an outstanding student throughout and had received State and National Merit scholarships and was conferred the best outgoing student gold medal from Nirmala High School, Maris Stella College and Siddhartha Medical College. Her dissertation in masters is related to Endometrial Receptivity and pregnancy outcome in IVF/ICSI. Her main research interest area is reproductive health care. |

As she hails from a family of freedom fighters and social reformers, Dr Demos has actively participated in a number of health camps and has been a regular volunteer in Health Awareness Programmes conducted by Vasavya Nursing Home, Vijayawada. |

Beyond her profession, Demos is an accomplished classical dancer in Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam disciplines which brought her many laurels for her performances across India, also at Germany, London and Dubai. She also excelled in shuttle badminton and had won championships at school, college and university level. She has participated in a variety of programmes on AIR and Door Darshan. |
